A Cathedral Within A Mosque 1
When the Moors occupied Southern Spain they erected a huge mosque at Cordoba with hundreds of red and white arches. When Spain was reconquered the center of the mosque was converted to a Roman Catholic Cathedral. The image depicts a view into the center of the cathedral from the original mosque area.
